family, friends, co-workers, child / adult child’s treatment
team members can sponsor or support you. So let's get started.
Customize
your page to reflect your personality.

your favorite or personal picture.
When
people respond to your emails, they want to respond to you and
your cause. But having your picture on your fundraising page,
they connect with you and donate to your efforts.

Tell
them about why you are doing this and what it means for them
to sponsor your family or team.
Tell
your friends what this means to you and why you are doing this.
Give them some information about the issues facing our children
and our families, and how the money will be used to support
the programs and activities sponsored by Prader-Willi California
Foundation.

Send
out emails to your list.
Sponsors are essential to achieving our fundraising goal. Just
as important, when you speak with someone about sponsoring you
at the Walk, you increase awareness of the syndrome. Of course
you can still collect sponsors in honor of your child or family
even if you’re not able to attend the Walk in person.

Then, click

ActiveGiving fundraising site. Click on “Become a Fundraiser”
at the top of the page to create your own personal Walk fundraising
web page!
Then, click
here to access the Northern California ActiveGiving
fundraising site. Click on “Become a Fundraiser”
at the top of the page to create your own personal Walk fundraising
web page!
Then, click

Login to your headquarters by going to www.activegiving.com/donations
Enter or create your username and password to login to the Donation
HQ
Click on "Campaign Center" to access your admin area.
Click on "send emails" to send donation requests to family,
friends, therapists, corporations, etc.
